A "No Judgement" PowWow

I know that I tend to write about things in a more positive light day to day, which makes me very happy to do and that is why I do it, but I wanted to touch on an issue that has been very heavy on my heart and mind for the past several months. I wanted to broach the subject of Judgement...and more specifically Food Judgement. In society we seem to have come a long way regarding Sexism, Racism & Religious Persecution (though we still have a LONG way to go!). But recently I have realized that these judgements in society today are manifesting themselves just as blatantly these days as many of the unloving, criticisms of our past generations were back then....they are often just a bit more subtle and undercover presently.

To be specific with my experience, I recently was very judged by two Vegan people in social media for posting a Raw Vegan Recipe on a Vegan Page and not being completely Vegan myself. To be very open I was completely in shock! I feel that as a human being and a person who is very open to accepting people from all walks of life this was a huge stab at my genuine and kind gesture to spread wellness to others. In all fairness to the situation I didn't just share this recipe that I made for dinner that week with Vegans, Vegetarians or non-meat eaters...I shared this delish recipe on all kinds of Health forums, Fitness sites, Spiritual Pages & Energy Discussions hoping for others to see the benefit of eating so many nutrient rich vegetables & herbs...and in turn I was faced with Segregation.

Though I really do have a HUGE respect for the people that are Fully Raw, Vegan or Vegetarian (as I was Fully Raw for quite a long while) I am also very impressed by people who are evolving at their own pace in life to ways that suit them in whatever stage that they may be coming into alignment with. I don't believe it is any of our jobs in life to make others feel guilty for any part of who they are OR for who they are attempting to become OR the process in which they are arriving to where they desire to be. No two people fit into the same mold, every person is walking this life on their very own path so how can one way of Sustaining one's body be the same for every person in every season of their lives?

The Source from which we have come brought us into this life for a reason (and some of us have come from many different experiences and lifetimes) to learn new lessons, to experience contrast and to evolve and grow for the betterment of the world as a whole and for the expansion of ourselves and of our true source within. I think focusing on "our" internal selves serves a much higher purpose for what we are ultimately trying to achieve while we are participating in this life.

I personally choose to eat a diet full of a lot of uncooked, nutrient plant & garden based foods, Veggie & Fruit Juices that feed my cells more quickly, drinking LOTS of structured Water & eating Fish & Shellfish (occasionally) because I LOVE how I feel when I eat foods like this day to day. I feel my intuition become stronger the healthier I eat, I feel my senses come to life, my sexuality goes through the roof, I feel a tremendous amount of energy which in turn benefits me & my family, and I feel inspiration running through my body when I am eating in the way that suits "ME". I am proud to not need a label at this stage of my process but I also don't judge people that feel better having a label either, I think I needed labels a lot more in my earlier life too :) I am even more proud that I choose to share the wonderful discoveries in my life that make every day awesome so that hopefully others can feel awesome in their lives too.
